FDA warns consumers about potentially dangerous hand sanitizers.
Last week, the FDA released a statement warning consumers of hand sanitizers in the marketplace that may be toxic to humans. These banned products contain methanol -- an ingredient that can cause methanol poisoning -- when absorbed through the skin or ingested.
