CBD FAQ

What is the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) and why is it important?

The endocannabinoid system is involved in regulating a variety of physiological processes such as immune function, pain-sensation, mood, memory and assists in reducing inflammation. Comprised of cannabinoid receptors endocannabinoid molecules, and their metabolic enzymes, it is a crucial molecular system that the body uses to help maintain homeostasis.

How does CBD work?

All cannabinoids, including CBD, produce effects in the body by modifying receptors in the Endocannabinoid System. These receptors are found all over our body, including our brain, nervous system, stomach and skin which allows CBD to elicit a healthy balance between mind and body.

What is CBD?
